Objectives: | By the end of this session participants will:
Be able to discuss and explain "Antibiotic Stewarship"
Distinguish those patients with lower respiratory tract infections for which antibiotics are indicated.
Utilize a pragmatic approach to the use of antibiotics for urinary tract infections and chronic wounds in LTC.
Be able to define the term asymptomatic bacteriuria and identify its prevalence.
List the services available through the IV Therapy Program in Home and Community Care.
Identify the physician's role in Outpatient IV Therapy. |
